Had a call from a lady claiming to be from Talk Talk technical Department. She knew my name and asked if I was aware of the large amount of harmful data that I had been downloading, or something to that effect. I was immediately suspicious so I asked for her name which she gave me as Olivia, and where she was calling from, She told me London, and had a really heavy asian accent that made her very difficult to understand. Asked if I had received £ vouchers for home improvements. Told them I believed this to be a scam and rang off.
Message left on home phone allegedly from the Bank of Scotland Fraud section asking for me to call them with a code number due to apparent activity on my account. Phoned the number supplied and they said they did not recognize my phone number and as such wanted my card number and sort code - which I refused to supply. Subsequently contacted my bank who confirmed that this IS DEFINITELY A SCAM and is not the way in which they operate.
