SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.

My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.
Missed call. Having read the other comments I’m going to block this number. I have blocked so many of these numbers that seem to all belong to the same 2 Indian accent people. Last call I told the person to remove me from their list but I think they just keep calling on different numbers. Total pain in the neck, waste of everybody’s time & down right intrusive

Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.

I missed a no caller ID call from Dundee city council, the person gave me this number to call back on. I'm immediately greeted by an American automated voice giving me options to which I decide to hold for assistance cuz none of them mean anything to me. Automated voice call from this number on Tues 27th June regarding a "transfer from my account in the sum of £1000+ and a transaction to Amazon in the sum of £300+" and I was invited to press button 1 to authorise both transactions which I obviously did not do. There was no description of which "account" involved in either the transfer or the Amazon transaction. Checking all accounts confirms NO cash transfer and NO transaction with Amazon.

Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.
