Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Yes sometimes it's an Asian person, sometimes it's an English person - I'd love to know how you know though that they're muslim! Just because you can't call the numbeer back doesn't = scam. SPAM - Blank Robocalls, that hang up when you say hello. These are generally used to authenticate that the number is active and then sold to scammers. Be vary if you get such calls and you answer - as most likely you will get more calls later on from scammers once your number has been sold.
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. Tell me who uses the numbers with shared rate and just rings - they want you to call back and loose your money! It could be some legitimate company, but no way I would call them back.

for some reason our phone number must have been released to this call centre and we are being inundated with sales calls for utilities, credit cards - you name it we have had it - several times a day. It is very annoying. As this is a business line, it ties up the line and takes valuable time out of our day.
