As usual, my answering machine takes any call, and automatically dials 0171 to record the caller s number if available. Repeated calls from 0139852762 with no message left. I don t care, I don t have to answer, and it must cost whoever it is!
This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!

A female voice claiming to be from Microsoft went through a rigmarole of getting the Event Viewer up. I disconnected from the internet and obeyed. She then tried to tell me that these messages were all about hacker activity on my computer, then asked me to use Run to load Internet Explorer, which I do not have on this computer and I relayed the message "Windows cannot find iexplore". I had a missed call from this number and I'm from the Netherlands, thought it was strange so I googled the number first and ended here. I don't have a cat and haven't been in Engeland for years so no clue why I'm called from there. So i decided to call back (within 30 minutes) and it said the phone number didn't exist. So that is certainly strange.
claimed to be from BT and wanted to reduce my telephone bills by 30 per cent as a reward for long standing custom. I then ended the call.. Caller had strong Indian accent.
