I received a call from this number this afternoon but no voicemail was left so I didn t know who called. I later received a call from 01702454081, which seemed a coincidence. This was from Insure and Go. They were following up an online quote for travel insurance so it was really not entirely a cold call .

recieved 20 calls from that number. they want to claim money back for you, from any old loans you have had.

They keep phoning me and when I answer I get a loud beep before the calls cuts out.

Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you. I have been contacted by this number every day (some time twice a day)for the past week. each time it has been for the same contract opportunity each time I tell them NO! Their English is very very bad I can hardly understand them. They are all from India. Research show me if you contract through them they don t pay up. IT Contractors Avoid this company.

Despite repeatedly asking to be removed from their calling list, they persist in calling 2-3 times a day. I ve stopped answering.
