I am called regarding this scam at least once a month since a year ago or so... Every time is a different number, so blocking it doesn't help. It is really annoying. I wish I could do something about it, like report it to the police. This have to stop.

They ring, I answer. They say nothing, and after 10 seconds of silence they hang up. One minute later, repeat of the exact same scenario. If they don t want to talk to me fine, but why ring (twice) if they wont speak. Idiots.

Had a call at 11.25 today from this number with an Indian sounding man telling me that my computer had been compromised at around 01:00 this morning and they wanted more information from me so that they could investigate the hacker. He gave his address as British Telecom and, since I don't have an account with them, I thought is sounded very like a scam. The fact that the call seems to have come from India made me very suspicious.
