called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though

Been pestered several times by this caller, so I eventually dialled back to find out who they were. A recorded message informed me that they were calling on behalf of the People s Postcode Lottery.

This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.

Recorded SCARE TACTICS to get the unwary to buy a new boiler. No such thing as a compulsory assessment, nor is it required by 2017. Unscrupulous company trying to sell boilers. Do not be taken in with their nonsense. Block or ignore it or better still flag it up here.
