After searching online, others have suggested it's Domestic and General, which I do have cover with for appliances, therefore would expect them to talk. Got a call from this number claiming to be from my Mobile Phone provider offering an upgrade. As I am on a PAYG tariff (satisfactory for my needs) I politely declined their offer and hung-up. If and when I want or need an upgrade I will decide which Company to approach.

SCAM - i think they were a scammer, (I'm not positive but they usually are these unknown numbers). They were phoning from outdoors in Trafalgar Square in London, so they could literally be anyone, they weren't a business, (they weren't one of those that hung up immediately, they waited until after I spoke). They phoned twice that day.

SCAM. The caller was a woman claiming to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. She further claimed to be from the energy company – E.ON – that supplies me with electricity. She knew or guessed my first name, and asked for confirmation of details of my name and mailing address. However, she did NOT ask for – nor did she receive – my e˗mail address, my account number, or any bank or credit card or debit card details. Furthermore, she did not ask for immediate payment. Have nothing to do with this number.
