This is the barclaycard team calling about late payments or exceeded credit card limit. If you don t have a barclaycard, somebody has used your number so that they don t get these calls themselves.

this number has called my home phone several times but never left a message. If you call back you get a message in Punjabi then English saying it is busy. No idea what this is!

I think this is a scam number aiming to talk the vulnerable (ie people with debts) into giving out their bank details. I terminated the call as soon as they mentioned debts/creditors

Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

They have called me 3 times today - also from 020 7946 1974. Hang up each time I answer.

Keep missing calls from this number. Tried to call back and told I called an incorrect number.

Web development company from India using a false UK landline number. This is now the 70th call from an overseas company after registering a domain name yesterday. As a web development company of many years standing, we have never had this hassle before when registering new domain names for our clients. These people are like vultures!!!! I can t blame them for trying but for goodness sake, DO IT ABOVE BOARD, STOP HIDING BEHIND FAKE UK NUMBERS!!!

This number calls us at least once every day. No message is ever left on the answer machine and no-one is at the end of the telephone if you do pick up.

I keep trying to ring the number back but always says line busy, how much deposit did you pay and did you definitely get confirmation back? Scared it's not all its cut out ...
