SCAM!!!!! Says it's a bank alert but doesn't say which bank so I hang up straight away. they call 2 to 3 times a week. Checked with my bank and it wasn't them.
The number called from was not 839, the number was 849. the 849 number was not listed. The 849 number said they were the I. R. S.. "SCAM" Was the call from England or Ohio?
I don't know anyone in Liverpool and if the Halifax bank I'm not a customer. And this is the 3rd time today it's called me.

I have massaged over 20 years and had some unpleasant customer, but this person has really freaked Me out, I have reported them to the Police.

This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.

When i questioned him about it he could only give my name nothing else. I then saod citizens advice now call random calls he then said he works for citizens governments advice. I have just received a call from this number from someone saying they were from vodaphone and that I was to be offered a new handset. I did not listen to the rest of the story as i suspect it was a scam. I cut the call and checked the number immediately. It appears not to be listed as a scam number but beware.
