SCAM / SPAM - claimed to be ‘Carphone Warehouse’ but didn’t know my name.
This number called my landline then called my mobile immediately afterwards, so they obviously had my details rather than calling random numbers. I don t answer to numbers I don t recognise and they didn t leave a message on either my answerphone or my voicemail, so I ve no idea who it was.
Company talking about government (i.e. taxpayer!) grants first called me ten months ago. Their website is www.esiscotland.co.uk/ Reported to TPS and ICO. Just had another call from this number today - ESI Scotland again. What are the TPS and ICO playing at? They should be hammering these lawbreakers. I will be asking qustions of the TPS and ICO.

Received a call this morning from the above number. Said that my pension was now due for review. Said they were the PENSIONS ADVICE BUREAU and confirmed my address and postcode. Said they were conducting reviews on UK pensions and that my pension was due for review. Seems strange as I have no pension nor is one then up for review. When you get these calls try to avoid answering them. They call multiple numbers at the same time and wait for the first person to answer hense why most people get hung up on. Pretty sure they record who ever answers and call these numbers back! Anyone trustworthy would leave a message, you d hope so you can call them back.
