Threaten them with the following.. "You are duly informed that any further calls made to my number by your company will be charged at £1000 per call"...it s your RIGHT to use T&C s too you know... and you can make them too...my son got around 6k...lol good luck!!

Foreign sounding female voice - not very audible- she was trying to explain about an order from Amazon I had paid for but something about the payment had not gone through etc etc. Not sure of the rest but she asked for payment - I have Not ordered from Amazon - she did not know my name so I raised my voice and told her that all this was a SCAM and put the phone down .

Fraud. Another BT scam call from a woman with Indian accent. Familiar voice from previous different numbers. When challenged, she started shouting and became abusive. The idea is to extort money from you and they will protect you online. I can see how some may be frightened and fall for this scam. So Be Warned And Don’t Respond.

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour

This number called and "released a lock issue" on my computer, Claimed to be Microsoft. He then chased up regularly for £500 in payment. Spoiler alert - Microsoft don't use this number. This male pretended to be called Alvin. Avoid as extremely convincing and dangerous criminal scam
