Man phoned up and asked me if I had had any extensions done on my home in the last 15 years. I replied that I hadn t and he said his goodbyes.
Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.

Two calls today, both with Asian sounding operators claiming to be from BT. They are not. Don't give these scammers anything, not even the time of day. OFCOM, are you listening? You need to do something about these cold callers. They have obviously found a way to use a geographic number which are not automatically blocked by most cold call prevention measures.

Theses idiots got my number from somewhere and constantly called me. Over and over again, several times a day. I have them a 7 because the calls were aggressive and unwanted. So much so, I considered changing energy supplier just to make them go away, then I remembered block caller.
