He offered to renew my van insurance, at a lower cost. My van insurance was not due for renewal yet he had a lot of details about me. However the van he had me as owning was from over 5 years ago, so I guess this is some old hacked database and then a scam to get your money. Scam Windows support service pretending to be Microsoft support team. Wanted to sell silver or gold package before they could remove the virus on the PC. Do not pay them anything!!! Contact Microsoft on their published number on the web 0344 800 2400 and they will help you.
This is TAPA s number for their investigations team. I am registered with them to stop unsolicited charity advertising requests to my shop. Call them if your business is receiving charity advert calls if you want them stopping.

I received a call from this number today with a message that my master card had been used abroad for a £600 purchase. I was asked to press one to confirm payment. I terminated the call and phoned the number back to be told that the number did not exist. The person was female with a very clear voice and English accent.

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.
Rings and hangs up before answered, it’s a premium number, and like many of these 0843 numbers it will turn out to be a scam of some sort.

Asked for a woman that doesnt live here so explained they must have wrong number. The caller said no matter, are a home owner then? I said irrelevent if I was seeing as they have not contacted me by name so not interested and hung up. Her phone manner was unprofessional and I suspect just dialling random numbers cold calling
