Fraud Pre recorded message posing as Credit Card company stating your card has been used twice this morning, one transaction supposedly for Amazon the 2nd I couldn’t quite understand but for large sums of money. Asks you to press 1 on your phone to authorise these transactions. Just put the phone down. I’m getting fed up with these people who think they can con other people out of their hard earned money.

Of this really is th e region for this number and not a mobile number I am surprised. An Asian man, said from Sky and telling me my tv warranty was due for renewal. Just another scammer!!!!

Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.

I was just called on this number. Obviously a computerised call as there was a pause before someone with an American accent spoke. Wanted me to confirm a purchase I had made for over £3,000. I put the phone down. SCAM SCAM

Scam recording from my visa card Co advising 2 fraud transactions for big amts, called my card Co from no on bk of my card and no transactions have taken place, be careful all especially the elderly, try use a credit card at all times then transfer from Yr debit card to pay it, never take out he house Yr debit card, as bank don't always reimburse u for fraud, the credit card Co will if you have shown you took care reporting any suspicious activity and were careful with Yr details online. This was a very frightning scam call, saying that amounts of something like £300 and £1100 had been debited to my card - they didn't say which - and to ring a certain number etc etc Dangerous and number now blocked.

Just received a call from this number asking for my father , bucase the number they called is a works mobile I explanied that he wasnt available , the operator ( asian male ) then asked me does he give you his phone look after , I replied yes to which he called me a fucker and then hung up , he claimed to be from citizens advice originally !

Scam call from India. Automated message with American accent saying they are from HMRC and they legal action is filed against you blablabla. When you hold the line you speak to some Indian in an Indian call center. Cheap scam, wonder who would still falls for bullshit like this.

Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.

Supposedly VISA advising me that debits have been made on my card. This is a scam! It is a recorded message expecting a response. The next step is that they want to verify the card number etc and hey ho! you've lost your money.
