I don t answer calls that I don t know number. I logged this on my phone as DNA (do not answer) about 3 months ago. Called twice this evening. Obviously on a list.

Phone rang and automated voice said this is a call for (my name) if you can take the call press 1. Then it went to hold music. Then a guy answered from CARS and said hello and asked for the first line of my address. I asked who the company was and why they needed my address. He said it was for security. I said I wasn t giving details until they told me why. They said a business associate of mine had passed on my details. I asked who. DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

I asked who is calling and they immediately hung up.

Did not recognise the number so did not answer, went to answer phone so they hung up. Blocked the number now.

Asked to speak with my manager, I asked who they were and where they were calling from, advised his name was Sam from British Gas then proceeded to discuss N Power, I asked him to verify the company. After much back and "fourthing"he advised he was from "Duel Fuel" and his name was Jamal. Then he asked what was the company he has called an our number!! Very odd

NEVER give ANY information to a caller, no matter how convincing they sound.
