Automated call Asian sounding accent stating if you can hear this message it means you have successfully connected to this number. Haven't s clue what that was about. It kept repeating until it hung up.
Again, was totally duped and lost ?279 through these scum. I have reported them to the fraud squad along with emailing my bank to see if I can get the money back through them as I too, borrowed money to do this. Therefore do not give any money to DATES FOR HIRE/ HIRE A DATE OR ELEGANT COMPANIONS which are all the same people.

I called NatWest on their official telephone banking number who confirmed that this is an automated fraud prevention text alert. It was used to verify a suspicious transaction on my account with a simple Yes or No reply to the text. They state they will never ask for personal details on a text. Genuine number.

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

phoned to offer compensation for a traffic accident
claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Got a call from a "With-held" number, then minutes later got a call from the same company on this number saying "You have been selected to receive a discount..." I didn t let them get any further. These types of sales tactics are the lowest of the low methods of marketing and sales especially as my telephone number is registered with telephone preference!
