SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. I'm getting pretty sick of calls from this number! I've blocked it twice now!
This number has been calling most days since the last week of October. Unfortunately, I try and avoid answering unknown numbers, so I have no idea who or what is calling.
Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.
This is nuisance call that I have received several times. Having several calls in the day from different numbers which are completely unknown to me and this is one of them
