Why do they keep on phoning about an "accident" that I keep telling them never took place!!? So thick skinned and can t get the message. They said they are phoning to help me "close the file"! What file? Are they dumb? However, the real culprits are the people selling them the telephone numbers in the first place. This is a fax scam from the well known scammers who send you (normally a company) postal letter for a catalogue or database inclusion and if you or any of your employees make a mistake, sign it and send or fax it back they will bill you £960 per for 2 years minimum, and even take you to the UK court if you don't pay. They are listed as an Austrian company but if fact it's a total scam and the number should be delisted by Ofcom

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1617685xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, life insurance - insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?
