The guy on the other end said something about being from the Football pools company, so I m sure it was Vernons like someone else had reported (they likely have my number from joining their casino ages back I can only assume) Since I haven t used them in years no idea why they are calling since I ve never done the Football pools EVER and have no plans to! It's verification for a number of companies such as steam and ebay. I had one from Paypal saying my Blizzard account had been detached from my Paypal. Nothing malicious on Paypal. Seems fine.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8432632xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

Add to my previous report. Oct 28, call from alleged 01234-945006. I rang that number, recorded, well-spoken male voice told me"sorry there is a fault on this number. Please call 118820 and operator will...an alternative number, calls are charged at BQ (or DQ rate)119 which is £2.53 per call plus £.01 per minute" Then came the killed...same male voice resumes, louder "Calls to 118820 are free to all mumblemumble customers"> I listened six times to try to learn what the words which I represent as mumblemumbl

Keep being called by this number around 2-3 times a day during working hours (so can t pick up). It s so, so annoying and I wish they d just stop calling!
