SCAM......typical automated call telling me there were 2 suspect transactions pending on my card of £300 & £1100.......and to press 1 if not me.....yeah as if!!!! Called my Bank instead as the Tel No originated in Oslo and I know my bank is based in U.K.
Said from Amazon, re an iPhone being ordered on my account, for £723. Said they've stopped the transaction a nd to Press 1 to speak to Amazon rep etc etc etc....suspect a scam...nothing showing on my Amazon account.

Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. To which I told him that I don't have any debt and it sounds like b*llsh*t to me. "so you have just wasted my time." was his comment and he hung up on me.
clearly this number has been 'hacked' - this is not the real number. Amazon Prime scam . . .

Text Messages suspicions link sent in text to my phone which is brand new 2 days I’ve had my phone and not given my number to anybody yet so how did they manage to get it?
I don't know who the caller was as I did't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called the number back, to be told by a message that the ''call is not recognised'' so who ever they are, they are probably not very legit.
Said it was from my bank and there was fraudulent activity on my account. Not true do not reply to this call.

I live in Florida, US. Have never before received a SPAM hang up call from England until now. Nevertheless, it was an automated call and I have no friends in, or traveling to the UK.
SCAM Told me they were from Virgin media and that they had notifications on their system of bad Internet connectivity asked how many devices I had and then wanted me to go on a PC or laptop to authorise them onto said computer so they could show me what was wrong ????? BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. The caller was very polite, so i only hope that they have removed my number now.
HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.
