This was an automated voice saying they were Amazon and I had been charged £95 for their Prime service - press one if I wanted to speak with someone or 2 if.... I had the same call from a different number the previous day and from a withheld number earlier this afternoon. This is obviously a scam of some sort.
Cold called by this number: man said he understood I had a driveway. Asked what this was about & he said more that I did not understand & could not relate to. Told him this & said I was going to hang up. He said "have a nice day" & hung up.

This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
The lady, with an Indian accent, said she was phoning regarding driveways. I told her she should not cold call me as I am registered with TPS and she told me to contact the TPS and tell them.

This account is in my daughters name, also if I want to speak to someone it said to dial 1, which I did and got an Asian sounding voice. When I tried to explain she cut me off. I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. Just had a call asking if we did embroidery services (which we don't) and digital services for design work. He then asked me for the prices we charge for this? I told him that we do not have a standard charge and I will not be stating a value - very thick accent which was hard to be able to understand fully. Very polite though.
