At least 2 calls every day from this number. When I do pick up the phone goes dead. Its about time the TPS in this country gained real power like the US, over there if a company calls after being told not, they have to pay a fixed penalty to the homeowner. Automated call as soon as we answered the call was disconnencted. Apparrently a large number of such calls originate from this number. Why? It can only be bad news.

SCAM Coputer voice said they were BT and there was suspicious activity on our phone line and they were going to disconnect it. Press 1 for ? or Press 2 to speak to someone about it. As we have not been a BT customer for nearly a year and do not use there phone line. We are with Virgin that does not use BT lines. It was a scam ! I did not press any number as it would probably cost us money. This company have 100's of numbers under the same prefix and change every last numbers every few day.

I had a missed call from this number and I'm from the Netherlands, thought it was strange so I googled the number first and ended here. I don't have a cat and haven't been in Engeland for years so no clue why I'm called from there. So i decided to call back (within 30 minutes) and it said the phone number didn't exist. So that is certainly strange.
This number ends in 408 not 409 every time I ring it its busy so I am presuming its a scam so beware
