Call at 6:15 pm on 14 Jan 16. Lady caller (with a very English voice) informed me that I might be due a refund from a company called ......(something)....Jones. I asked who the company is and she gave some information which did not make much sense. I then asked what does the company sell at which point she abruptly finished the call. That sounds like a scam to me!

The number belongs to Balfour And Sons from Lymm but currently, it seems to be getting used by someone else masking their real number with this one. These people have been calling for months using various (fake) phone numbers. If you just answer 'NO' the call disconnects. If you answer 'YES' you get connected to someone with Indian accent. I believe they are using data stolen from TalkTalk to make these nuisance calls.
I answered the phone as soon as I said hello, their phone went down, was just a normal landlines because I heard it hit the phone rest.
