Caller said he was from Microsoft. Said that my PC had been compromised by hackers. After leading him on for a while I asked him straight if he was after money. He said that he was trying to help but then threatened to lock up my computer. I hung up.

I keep receiving a phone call every day about 4.00pm from this number and when I answer the phone is put down....I presume because they shouldn't be ringing a business numb...

Rang after i filled out an online survey. Just told them i m not interested and happy with existing provider. They said they ll take me off their call list..... We ll see.

Nuisance caller

They called twice in one week. You always know these people. You answer once, twice and then when you are just about ready to hang up they speak. Lots of back ground noise from their colleagues making more nuisance calls to other poor victims and they ask for you by name but need you to confirm it. You either say they have the wrong number and that person isn t known at this number then hang up or, just say that the line is breaking up and you can t hear them. They get bored really quickly and hang up.

Allan called this afternoon to sell their product at ?3-20 a year to stop all nuisance calls to our landline number. I said I will look into this and call back. He gave me his contact number as 08006226710

This was a call regarding potential refunds relating to Payment Protection Insurance

Direct Business Solutions (DBS). Called several times but don t seem to know about previous calls they have made. Perfectly polite but it s another sales call. Trying to get the best deal etc etc. Told them I wouldn t be using a broker once contract end with supplier but didn t stop them trying. Quite annoying. Have now blocked their number.

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Claims to be from BT internet and says your internet has been hacked. Will spend over a hour with you on the phone getting you to check your internet security, but while you are doing this they are hacking into your internet and taking all the money from your bank and putting it into a western union account! They cleared my bank account
