“Sky” calling to check I had the best possible offers with my package (his exact words). Only thing is, I did check my package and changed it about 10days ago so…either sky are really poorly run and don’t know what they are doing with their so-called “loyal” customers or…. It was a scam. Told them I had done it already and he hung up. No “have a nice day” or nothing! Cheek!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers) - can be something different and legitimate, but srry I'm always suspicious considering numbers for shared rate. I recommend to block the whole 0845286xxxx range... Did someone answer this number?

Keep getting (and missing) calls from this number on my work mobile. when I try to call back I get the busy tone or the call does not complete, so they are not accepting inbound calls.
Every time this number rings they put it down as soon as you answer it. No background noise or anything.

Got to say as well, for the Home, BT’s ’Call Guardian’ phones are a serious piece of kit! Stops Cold Callers dead in their tracks. I’ve never had such blissfull peace since getting one a couple of years ago. EVERY HOME SHOULD THEM AS STANDARD! Folks, buy your elderly / vulnerable relatives and friends one for Christmas, etc... they’ll thank you forever and you’ll get peace of mind knowing they’re protected from scammers.
