Automated scam call about HMRC customs tax fraud.
SCAM Claiming to be from the HMRC. Speaking with an Indian accent. Claimed I owed £35000 in unpaid taxes and that this has been logged at my local court house. I gave him a false name. and he could not confirm any information about me, as it was confidential!! What a load of rubbish. Now blocked, but still getting voice mails left.

SCAM I had a phone call from 020 8298 3548 at 3:01pm this afternoon on Thursday 25th February 2021. Different numbers starting with 020 8894 keep calling me and when I don't pick up they never leave a message. It's a number that purports to be in Trafalgar Square, but is in fact an Indian call centre.

An automated message - has called me numerous times over the past week. I ve tried pressing 9 to opt out. Makes no difference at all, so this time spoke to someone by pressing 5 . Apparently they will remove my number -takes up to 48 hours. Definately the most persist nuisance call I ve ever had.

Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. And thirdly, the message came through at 00.16 am….!! I don’t know of any post office employee who would be calling or trying to deliver a parcel at just gone midnight…! SCAM
