This number has just rung me when I answered there was no one there despite me answering on the second ring. I have got no idea who this is but Despite being registered with TPS we are still getting lots of unsolicited calls who when we answer there is no one there. There should be something which can be done to stop this

Calling eldery people not giving what company/department they are from must be a scam.

Caller purported as acting as 3rd party for a Finance Company which I have just used (so far so good). Wasn t happy when started to ask for relatively minor details (address/post code) so caller advised not prepared to discuss further. Not content with my perspective of "This is unsolicited, from a number I don t recognise, and you ve advised you are as acting as a 3rd party" tried to push on. Have previously had the microsoft scam, trying to get remote access to my pc - unfortunately even the police were not concerned about this really. Now Im getting them saying they are from "Peoples Albanian" saying they are calling me regarding the survey I took part in ( I did not) on behalf of UK companies. I get up to 5 calls per day, I really wish this would stop its a total nightmare, absolutely fed up with it bee going on for a long time now!

Phone asking to speak to Mr ... (he had the correct surname) about a car accident Mr ... had had. When I asked which Mr ... (me or one of my sons) he said he would have to check with the insurance co and hung up. Things to note: None of the Mr ... on this number have had a car accident. Automated message told me my internet provider was going to disconnect me due to illegal activity within 24 if I didn't speak to a director. Told me to select 1 to speak to them.

no idea who this was as I was out when they rang, but one other person has searched for this number in past 3 days so I am assuming it s one of those unsolicited pest callers

guys, just to inform you... do not respond to the missed calls from these numbers. i too get calls from numbers like these... +44 is UK code... i rcvd a msg frm my service provider asking not to respond to calls/msgs from such numbers...

Caller asked for Mrs Mitchell, not my name, and then hung up when I said I was not her.

Got call re having an accident/medical negligence case. Since haven t had either, call is Cold-call and I am TPS registered. Won t anybody get these calls banned? Should we start an online petition to No 10?

I was continuously rang by an Asian sounding male, calling himself "Sean smith" and claiming to be from the citizens advice beuro. I basically called him a liar, and asked him to take my number off of his system. He refused, and continued to call me numerous times, some withholding number, some not. Some calls I answered, but didn t talk, carried on like normal, some calls I let ring out. Do not trust whoever it is.
