As others have said, a woman with a heavy foreign accent trying to sell website design services for a .com domain name that is registered to one of my web design clients. She thought it was my domain, so I told her it wasn t and put the phone down.

Claimed to be from the telephone preference marketing service. Had lots of my details, tried to tell me that his company worked for BT. I got fed up. Told him I wasn t prepared to give him any details about card details etc and I could do what he was trying to do on my phone - which is exactly what I was going to do with his number. Notice I had a lot of calls from odd numbers today so perhaps the scam is to make lots of nuisance calls and then phone up and offer the service..
