FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!
SCAM - from 07773 212931 - claimed £900 had been paid for online purchase from my visa debit card. Automated message starting “dear customer”. Told me to press 1 for fraud line to stop payment.

His name is Chris James and he's a landlord based in oswestry. Vile man. Only cares about money. No interest in your needs or replacing things but experts you to pay even though he doesn't help. Comes unannounced and will go around property when you're out. Makes threats he can't cash. I hope he gets cancer and dies a slow and painful death. That's what he deserves. I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.

This is my house telephone number in Oswestry Shropshire. A 90 year old lady in some distress phoned me on this number today to ask why I had been contacting her. She told me she lives in Eastbourne and had been contacted from a number purporting to be from this one asking for finacial information. I explained I had not phoned her but it was probably a phishing scam and suggested she blocked it. I feel I needed to report this scam and this number on her behalf. Scum does not adequately label these people.
