Indian male called Alex purporting to be from BT telling me I had a problem with my internet and they were getting urgent error signals. I knew it was a hoax call, had them before, so asked him twice what the signals were and he put the phone down. Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.
Got a call from this number on my mobile. Didn't answer as I don't know who'd be ringing me and I don't know anyone from Congleton - blocked the number. Never even heard of the place until now!
