Automated call allegedly from the NCA claiming my NI number was used for illegal activity and it is now suspended. The message then asks to press 1 to speak to a case officer to prevent my assets being seized, etc.

This caller left a recorded message to say "to find out more about this case before we proceed to legal action press 1". If you press 1 you just get a repeat of the message. For the elderly like me this is quite frightening.

I have received 2 calls so far this morning, i don't answer numbers which are not in my handset phone book so they are wasting their time.
TAXES / HMRC Automated call saying there was a warrant out for my arrest.
Tried to get me to make a claim after having a car incident which was not my fault. Spoke to my insurance company who said this was not them and probably a 3rd party trying it on

3.15pm Monday 27th April, foreign male,gave his name as Chris Lewey, , gave the name of a company which I didn t quite catch,and that he wasn t trying to sell anything but wanted my opinion. He then asked if I had Sky TV at which point I said I wasn t interested in answering any questions. He thanked me politely and put the phone down. Initially when I answered the phone he asked for me by name.
