Cold callling. Strong Asian accent. Some kind of financial company pretending they ve legitimately obtained my number. I wasn t pleasant.

The representative of a bank, but not my bank wanted to advise me. He also went simply from the fact that I am with the said bank. I will not mention the name because I think that the man does not really work for the bank. It all sounded very much like sales pitch.

Number called but hung up before I could answer. No message left.

Ringing this no back, recorded message claiming to be NHS & say they will call again. Some sites say this is an appt reminder, but it s certainly not that in my case. A search on my local NHS, Betwsy Cadwalader shows no knowledge of this number. I have now blocked this caller.

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. This was an automated call from Talktalk (Voice text message) to tell me a product had been registered and ready to use.
