These are scam calls, I used to get up to 8 a day, I got myself the bt 8500 home phone, it blocks all nuisance calls. Check it out on Google.

Call went through to answering machine. Rang off part way through message.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. Rang off when answered. Don't know anyone in Glasgow so probably phishing call.

Rings 2 or 3 times every day. Never get chance to pick up phone as it only rings 3 times

They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. You would think that after ringing someone 2 or 3 times without the phone being answered they would give up but No. I answer and make them wait on the line lol
