Fraud this was a call claiming to be from Amazon stating a purchase was being made from my account and if not me to contact immediately. I checked all accounts nothing amiss. Got in touch with Amazon and they confirmed my account secure so be aware of this number

Asked to speak to person dealing with BT accounts. Would not send details by email, said it had to be done over the phone for call monitoring purposes. When quizzed, he said he did not work for BT but One Com who deal with Open Reach customers. Sounds like a marketing call to me so won't be getting a call back

I answered the phone, a woman said 'what do you want', so I said you called me. She said that I'd called her and that apparently she'd had several missed calls from this number today. I've only just got in from work and have 6 missed calls from this number
Number was 0151 281 5034, Liverpool, England. Said they were from HMRC and if I didn’t press 1 to continue with call, a warrant would be issued in my name. I hung up. If they were genuinely from HMRC they would not call you like this. I hate to think what would have happened if I had continued with the call, obviously trying to scam me for money. Please don’t fall for this. PUT THE PHONE DOWN.
