SCAM - Male - Indian, asked for me by name, advised recent bank payment had been overpaid & I could get money refunded. He then gave my correct address & asked me to confirm this was correct. Told him this was excitinging news - I have someone with me at the moment, give me your number & I ll call you back. He hung up immediately. Do not ring your bank/credit card company immediately, it may reconnect you back to the caller who will then ask you to confirm your personal details - very dangerous. Instead

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.

I m getting really sick of these calls now. I am registered with TPS but am called both on my mobile and home number. I actually pressed 5 to speak with someone and she just put the phone down on me. Fraud - I was called off one number trying to get a security code that would reset my O2 account. when I refused to give the one time code to the lady she got aggressive. I said I would check with O2 customer service and if everything was ok would take up the offer. I was given this number as O2 customer services - IT IS NOT. I reported to O2 (202) and they confirmed that this was Fraud, and if I gave them the code they would have had access to my O2 account.
NEVER ring these numbers back or you may get caught for a big call charge!
