Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.

This is an unwanted and unrequested caller who is breaking all UK regulations regarding sales calls to TPS protected numbers. The caller was called Elsie, had USA accent so number may be spoofed. Refused to confirm my I'd so caller hung up. Avoid this caller.

Constant marketing calls from D2M. It's a complete con. Said I filled out a web page for Green Chef and I qualified for a discount. Considering I'm disabled and get all my meals delivered ready-made that didn't happen. I suspect my details were passed to them from five years ago when I tried Hello Fresh. I've received multiple calls a day from D2MS and I decided to answer this latest one, all from different numbers.

Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

Fraud pretending to be bank security stating that someone is trying to use my credit card and asking me to press 1. Put the phone down and call block the number. Somehow they are using what sounds like the same voice as my bank system.
Used by fraudsters and posing as the Barclays fraud teams. Likely that the fraudsters will contact business owners and provide this number to be used for a call back. Very dangerous to engage
