Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

Called today. Heavy Indian accent and lots of Indian voices in the background. Said he was calling from BT Tech dept....yeah ok like I believe that. I told him he was in for a big surprise as we had traced his number and would take matters further as he had reached an internal secure line at Essex police headquarters(he hadn t) but he hung up really QUICKLY. It s about time BT stopped selling blocks of numbers to scammer scum. If they don t then we, as genuine customers, should be able to sue BT.

I get at least three calls a day from this company who transmit automated tele-marketing messages about me qualifying for a government funded boiler. The number is 01604 761440.Most of the messages go to my answerphone and while on holiday recently they completely filled my recording space. I am TPS registered and they still persist in calling so I will be taking further action. Clearly this company is breaking the law and I am feeling both harassed and agitated by the annoyance. This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.
