Another Amazon scam. Apparently £300 Amazon and over £1k international spending.

I received a nasty text from this number in the early hours of the morning 2-48am.

Almost certainly fraudulent as recorded message from my unspecified bank about 2 purported transactions to Amazon and another international one

Male non english accent called my landline from 07342065763 17 Jan 2023. Stated he was from Amazon security and that he had emailed me as someone had ordered a £600 phone on my account. I asked whose name was on the account as he said it was my name. I asked again whose name and he said D Maddison. When I say they don't live here he hung up. Obviously has some old phone records.

Called multiple times and at stupid hours. Midnight I received 3 missed calls and a voicemail which was just music playing, whereas the voicemail left in the day he was a "recruiter". Do not answer.

SCAM. I could be fake call pretending to be from Amazon and saying that your Amazon Prime subscription has expired.

SCAM Claimed to be from BT & there was a problem with my broadband & internet. Whilst it appeared to be from a local number the line was bad and he had an Indian accent. This is the second call I've had in a week 'looking' like its from a local number

Please do not trust this person because he will use someone else’s bank account and steal your money. This guy poses to sell stuff on internet but once you’ve transferred money over to this guy he’ll disappear and stop answering his calls or he’ll keep on saying next day and make stories up. I received a recorded message telling me that an attempt had been made to use my credit card for the sum of £900 and that if it wasn’t me I was to press option 1 (there were no other options) when I called the number back I was told by recorded message that the phone was switched off.
