Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

SCAM Pretending to be Amzon saying that an order has been placed on my account with a couple of phone options. I just hung up but I assume if you choose the options you will either be charged for something or go through to someone who will try and get your account details. Checked my amazon (on a different device) no orders placed - so this is defiantly a scam. I've been getting a lot of random calls recently so assume my number managed to make it onto a dodgy list somewhere.
Phoned twice on Saturday morning. I answered but stayed silent. No sound at all from the other end and was cut off after a few seconds. Assume it was an automated call.

Claimed to be from Sky, I don't have sky so I spent a lot of time asking if they were going to supply me with Sky so that I could take advantage of their services & I insisted that it had to be supplied free. The oriental sounding lady really didn't get it. Eventually she asked if I had Sky & I replied that since she was from Sky I must have or she wouldn't be calling, but just now I couldn't remember what I'd done with it. She gave up.

Hi just thought id write a little message to those people who like to jump on the bandwagon. WWW.MONEYEXPERT.COM is 100% legitimate. How do I know?? Because I work for them. The company does have a small department off staff that generate leads through the website, and may phone up to follow up a recent/previous enquiry. The website offer savings and comparison. Now what people don t understand, is that if you go onto the website and enter in your details, there is small print at the bottom with a consent

Freaked my mum out, because they knew her name and postcode already. They tried to get her bank details to issue a refund from talk talk. She rightly told them no and they got abusive and hung up.
