this was clearly a phishing or telemarketing call. i am fed up getting these calls pretending to be insurance companies now. i google it there is no such company who ever provides this line whether it be BT or others need to start taking responsibility for it

I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).

This number came up as part of a serious warning proportedly from Microsoft .. the call to them was very convincing.. I was pased thru to Network Security expert in the states who told me it would cost $1300 to fix .. the whole thing was very convincing .. I pulled out at the last moment ..
