SPAM A guy with a scouse accent, called up saying he was from Fleetpoint Magazine, sounded very odd, almost intoxicated. Was pressing for information about company vehicles but seemed very against actually explaining WHY he wanted that information. On multiple occasions he asked for different people in the company to ask instead of dealing with me and after many attempts I finally got to the bottom of the nature of his call. Caller (not good english) claimed to be from my telephone provider, but could not tell me which provider, clearly an attempted scam.

Awful human

Silent call. Called me at 9:10 on a Saturday morning. I answered the call but it was silent and they hung up. It's likely automated 'robot' calls to test whether a phone number is in use/active.

Had a call from.this number but im pretty sure its been spoofed as it came up with +44 instead of the full area code. Claiming to be citizens advice which unless you've called them which i havnt they dont call you. Hung up and blocked. Had calls from other similar numbers too and sounded like the call clicked to be recorded was silent to behin with.

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.

SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

Calls repeatedly. Automated service on other end for something that sounds like "Sailor and Battery Scheme" (probably solar but sound quality is awful). Definitely a scam.
