SCAM - Picked up call on my mobile. Asian sounding man alleging he had received a file from RGA regarding my "claim". I firmly informed him that I have no claims arising but he was persistent. He hung up when I wouldn't back off and get into conversation. Definite scam, number now blocked.

SCAM Call center Purported to be from British Gas. I had difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me because of a strong accent, but he was suggesting a problem with my boiler thermostat? Then went on to talk about a maintenance contract to cover the boiler, radiators and electrical supply. I queried several times about his genuine employment by British Gas and he finally hung up the phone.

this number called my mobile this morning..i wasnt going to answer but i did...it turns out to be an insurance company acting on behalf of an injury lawyer scheme..who claimed to have been given an old file with my name on it for a car accident i had 3 yrs ago...i dont drive nor have i had a car accident in the last 3 yrs...the caller promised to remove my details and not call again...
Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. Just had call from a guy from this number asking me about my life insurance. Told him not to call my number again he replied I will call this number every day of your life told him I would make a complaint he replied I will call you tomorrow at 6pm told him not to call ever again as it s cold calling., he replied it s not cold calling I am warm He was aggressive and said I was stupid. Very very bad caller.
