did my usual for a number I don t know, answered phone, but kept quiet, waited for the other end to say something. as usual, a couple of seconds and the machine at the other end hung up.

I was told to f... off when I said I had no knowledge of the accident that he had a report about.

Another call from this area regarding PPI press 5 to continue or 9 to be removed from the database. Reported it to ico.

Missed call Came up on my phone as suspected spam, however when I searched the number on Google it brought up a street address in Bournemouth!

Do they get paid for calling?

This number rang me today. I was not convinced this marketing call was legit. I simply stated I was not interested. He continued to start to ask personal details e.g are you a home owner? I stated again I was not interested in answering his questions and I then put the phone down. Remember people, You Are In Control Of Your Phone!!!!!! If you re unsure if the call is legit, simple hang up!!!! Do not give out any personal info to a stranger that has phoned you.

Asian sounding company keep phoning saying they are doing marketing, then proceed to ask a string of questions about age, marital status, life insurance, phone provider, IT provider, TV package provider. I kept saying I didn t want any more phone calls and where this information was going, he kept ignoring me and asking the same questions saying they would not contact again but wouldn t say that they would not pass the information on to other parties. Called wanting to talk to me about an accident that wasn t my fault but didn t know my name - hung up when I asked what date this accident was supposed to have happened.

Some nonsense about a survey to find out if I was owed PPI money etc

He calls me and says "have you been in a road accident?" I say "No." He says "are you sure?" I say "yes." He hangs up on me! Erm, you phoned me mate! Dick!

I did not answer this call - too busy - but when I checked later I learned from another site that the criminals were at work again, pretending to be from Talk Talk and claiming there was an internet problem. Their only aim is to dangerously infect computers and steal information.
