This will lead to monies being taken from your account because you've allowed it to happen. Remember that if HMRC wish to contact you at all for what ever reason, they will do it by post and not on the phone. The same applies with banks. Please, people, don't do it.

As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).
