This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else. SCAM. Appears to be from HMRC. It is a recorded message and breaks up a lot. Cannot be a genuine call as HMRC tend to write anyway.

Recorded voice (Sounded like an angry Siri) stating from HMRC and was named in a serious fraud investigation and if I didn't press "1" on my keypad then I would be arrested immediately. It actually made me laugh out loud. Hang on, there's a knock at the door.......... :)

Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.
