They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls.

This number called my landline this morning but i wasn't in, didn't bother to leave a message so i have blocked the number.
I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.

SCAM as it's about nonsense saying legal action something about a letter being sent back and something about the queen it was odd as I don't usually get phone calls like that not since a few days ago and it's beginning to annoy me as receiving phone calls like I did today has only been a distraction and it has overwhelmed me to my limits I hope it stops soon as I'm not so sure how much more I can take of this

Postcode lottery scam, had my old address and then asked for my new address and i refused so when I did they hung up.
