This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I got this number from the booking office in Waverley Station in Edinburgh in order to cancel A Virgin train ticket. Called the number and got an Indian lady who just kept saying "hello". To me this sounds like a money-making scam and I am so frustrated!

Called by 0845286 1446 at 1.38pm today, 25/07/2017. There was silence when I answered the phone - I said "hello" twice, then put the phone down. This is the first time I have been called by this calling centre - usually they have a 0203, or 0800 number. I thought cold calling was illegal ?

They appear to have changed tactics - they now phone claiming that I m due compensation because of illness on holiday in the past 3 years. This hasn t happened and I asked them how they got hold of my number - they said from my holiday company, which is strange because I always put a no against any desire to share information with a 3rd party. When I said I was inTPS and would sue them if they called again, they said l couldnt do that...hilarious. when I asked for their name they hung up. Avoid.
