I too have just had exactly the same call as others from this Asian guy. I don t understand how these people can still be operating from the same telephone number without having been investigated and taken offline by the Police. Because no scam has actually taken place, Action Fraud don t want the detail, just to record the attempted fraud in their stats. Presumably some people are falling for this.

Silent call, then hang up. Possibly trying to get return call to a premium rate number. I think the number shown on my mobile may be a spoof number to prompt me to reply and be diverted to the premium rate real number. This is the second time in 2 days I have reported a problem. Once to my landline, this one to my mobile. Really getting sick of the extent of the problem. Had 90 junk mails yesterday. Maybe need to change email address and phone numbers, big inconvenience.

I received a call from this number saying my washing machine was out of warranty as I consider warranties are not worth having due to so companies going out of business I never take advantage of them plus the appliance was brought years ago, I consider it a bit late plus I always check a number out once the call has been made and considering there is no record of it, it has got to a scam caller :-)

They called me today, I didn t answer because I don t answer numbers that are not known to me. They didn t leave a voicemail so I thought it can t be that important. I called back to see who it was but it just beeped and cut off. Now I googled it and this came up, I wish I answered it so I could have told them where to stick it. I hate people like this, I wish I knew where they got my phone number from.
