Text Message SCAM received a message from another number (07729360961) saying “heya mum this is a message from my iPad so you probably don’t have me saved but I recently switched providers to O2 so I have a new n.o okay. Message me on 07858925155 so I can save your contact”

Automated voice Said transactions had been made from my bank account and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to an advisor. Did neither I phoned my bank and no such transactions has been placed

Automated voice claimed that I had ignored documents from HMRC and that legal action would be taken.

scam call. apparently from my mobile provider and I have been selected to have my bill reduced, I asked who my provider was, they couldn't answer, and then asked how much it would be reduced too and they then asked for my last bill, I said if they are my provider they know how much my bill is and then the phone went down, they will try anything

This number started to talk about charges. Beware

Text txt message offering a form for me to fill in to collect my money from the Gov Energy Support Scheme. Really low scumbag try as people are panicking.

This number call me to Portugal. I don't know any people who live in England, so i google it and saw its a number who sails financial products. Seems a scheme

Says a letter has been sent 're NHS experience at local hospital.

I received an SMS that appears to have been sent by HSBC. This shows an one-time password for a transaction of around £983 and asks me to urgently call this number (03309124638) if I do not recognise this transaction. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM! I have called HSBC (on their true number and not the fake number mentioned above) and they have confirmed what was obvious to me: THIS IS A SCAM. Your account is safe and has not been compromised. IGNORE THE TEXT MESSAGE and do NOT call that number. That's all!

Fraud - claim to be calling from the security department of my bank (not naming the bank) about two card transactions this morning, one of £300 for Amazon and one of £1.100 on Amazon. Press 1 to authorise payments, press 2 to speak to customer service advisor. I hung up.

Scam, £799 taken from Amazon card, press 1 to continue. Beware this number, dangerous and scammers after your financial information.

SCAM Says there's been a charge on my grandparents bank account for 300 on amazon and 1100 on something else.

Rang my elderly mother telling her her bank account had money taken from it, luckily my mother is on high alert with this kind of calls.

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. I then asked if it was a service or a sales call - very reluctant to answer so hung up. I think this sort of pseudo cold calling does businesses such as AO.com reputational
